Replacing Stainless Steel exterior
We found that the lower exterior stainless steel (that we were going to keep and polish to a high luster) had too many dings to keep and was too costly to replace. So we will replace it with smooth aluminum. This means that we will have to pick a different paint scheme, as the one we chose would have been coordinated with the polished stainless steel. Oh well! Back to the drawing board.
We can now see the new front starting to take shape. The old stainless steel front has been replaced with aluminum.
