A Change In Our Front End
I fell in love with the brand new  R & M Fiberglass Renaissance 2000 Front end kit. So after a few phone calls with Mike at Virginia Custom Coach and Karen at R & M Fiberglass (along the help of my credit card) I was the owner of a kit. This style of front end kit is made for MCI-8s, MCI-9s, 96 or 102 A, B, C, & Ds.

Since we had to go to the flat sides anyway, due to the aforementioned stainless steel problem, we had to scrap our original paint scheme and come up with a new one. We were making some real headway on the design  and then this new front became available. So we integrated it into our deliberations. After we spent a ton of time, we finally came up with a new design. Below is a rather loose approximation of our new design.
The picture to the right depicts a  paint scheme closer to the one we have settled upon than any other we have seen in a photo. This photo comes from the MCI-Industries Custom Coaches web page. However, we will use different colors, different stripes/stripe arrangements and of course we have a single rear axel.  Even though our MCI  is only 40' long and 16 years old, we hope that it will bear more than just a little resemblance to the beautiful 2002 MCI Renaissance model. We hope MCI will see this  imitation that we are building for ourselves as flattery.
Click on either of these two pictures and you will see more details regarding the R & M Front ends. (Both will take you to the same place)
